Lanzarote beyond the landscape: moving on across the island, the landscape changes again. Volcanic forms give way to more open stretches, cliffs, inlets and territories where the relationship between land and ocean becomes ever more apparent.

The light continually alters the perception of space: it emphasises surfaces, hollows out the rock, sets the colours of the earth alight and turns the horizon into a single essential line. These are places where the human presence stays marginal and the landscape asserts itself again in its purest dimension.
